Infinix Hot 30 Review
The Infinix Hot 30 is one of the latest products launched by Infinix on March 31 of 2023. Over the years, it popularly known as Infinix for its affordable devices that are packed with so much functionality. Let us review this device to see if its features are worth the price tag. Off the box, we can see that the device comes with a 6.78-inch HD+ display and it is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 processor plus an 8GB of RAM and an internal storage of 256GB that can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 13 with Infinix’s XOS 12.6 skin on top. Let’s dive into the review.
Design and Display
Being a mid-ranged budget smartphone, we honestly didn’t expect much from the overall design quality of the Infinix Hot 30. At the back, you will see the device has a plastic frame and back while the front is covered in glass, even though the materials used to build the device are low, we are still glad that INfinix managed to give this device a modern design. The dimensions of this phone are 168.7 x 76.6 x 8.4 mm plus the device weighs around 196 grams making it a bit light if you are planning to carry it on your day-to-day activities. When it comes to the display, the Infinix Hot 10 has a 6.78 inches IPS LCD with a screen-to-body ratio of 84.5% ensuring that you are getting a maximum view of the content on your screen. The phone comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz which is nice because this means that you will experience little time down when using the device.
Performance
The Infinix Hot 10 offers decent performance with the Mediatek Helio G88 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage ensuring that you have enough to store your favorite videos and images. When testing for the Infinix Hot 10 we realised the chipset makes it easy for you to shift from app to app smoothly with very little lags that you won’t even notice. You will enjoy your experience performing the Infinix Hot 10. Plus what we noticed is Infinix ensured that the operating system for the Hot 10 is Android 13 coupled up with Infinix’s XOS 12.6 skin on top giving you a user-friendly experience. Infinix equally ensured that this device comes with a large 5,000mAh battery capacity that is large enough to last you for up to 24 hours.
Camera
The Infinix Hot 10 boasts a dual-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 0.08-megapixel sensors for depth sensing photography, and a low-light sensor with a dedicated LED flash. The rear camera system can capture decent photos in well-lit conditions with good color accuracy and detail. However, in low-light conditions, the camera struggles to produce good-quality images which can cause noisy and blurry photos. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor that is housed in a water drop notch on the display. It can capture decent selfies with natural skin tones and good details. The front camera also comes with features such as AI beautification and portrait mode. Overall, while the camera system on the Infinix Hot 10 may not be the best in its price range, it offers decent camera performance for basic photography needs.
Other features
The other feature that comes with the Infinix Hot 10 is a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side, the device has provided you with other means to unlock your phone like a face unlock. Plus other features include an accelerometer, proximity, and a compass. Hot 10 also supports Bluetooth together with a 3.5mm jack that can play music on loudspeakers with stereo speakers. What truly hyped us is to see that on top of the 5000mAh battery capacity, Infinix provides you with a 33W wired charger that can get your phone from zero to 55% in 30 minutes, that is so convenient especially when you are in a rush
